Rin Homma

Young Artist Competition Winner

Eighteen-year-old Rin Homma was previously a scholarship student at the Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles. Since performing at the San Diego Salute to Champions at age 6, Rin has participated in several competitions, winning first place in the MTAC Piano Regional Competition five consecutive times, three of which she has won the state finals. In 2018, she appeared with the professional San Francisco Chamber Orchestra in a three day tour of the complete Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 1. She also took second place in the MTNA California Junior Competition and emerged as a finalist in the 2020 SJIPC. Recently, she placed second in the 2023 Edith Knox Concerto Competition and first in the 2023 SAI PAC Scholarship Competition. Previously having studied under Mina Perry, Hans Boepple, and Frank Lévy, she is currently a 2nd-year student of Professor Inna Faliks at UCLA.
