Tour Preview Concert
You will definitely want to mark your calendar for this event, as CYS prepares to travel to the Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary for a whirlwind tour that will find us performing in some of the most famous and acoustically perfect concert halls in the world. Our program will feature the wildly raucous Roman Carnival Overture by Hector Berlioz, Gershwin’s Cuban Overture, and Richard Strauss’s Suite from Der Rosenkavalier. Our program also highlights soloist Parker Van Ostrand, who will perform Leonard Bernstein’s Symphony No. 2 The Age of Anxiety for Piano and Orchestra.
