WINTER CONCERT

INTERMEZZI STRINGS - VIRTUOSI STRINGS - CHAMBER WINDS - WIND ENSEMBLE 

The California Youth Symphony will present its annual Winter Concert on December 8, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Reed L. Buffington Visual & Performing Arts Center at Chabot College. The CYS String Ensembles, under the direction of Kati Kyme, and the CYS Wind Ensembles, under the direction of  Wind Ensembles Director Anthony Lanzino, will feature music by Borodin, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Grieg, Mozart, Grainger, Holst, and Laughrey. CYS Percussion Director Artie Storch will also be featured as he conducts the Wind Ensemble Percussion section in a performance of The Hawks by Paul Brazauskas. Admission is free, and we welcome you to just walk right in for an exciting celebration of this holiday season!
