Tour Preview Concert

You will definitely want to mark your calendar for this event, as CYS prepares to travel to Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay for a whirlwind tour that will find us performing in some of the most famous and acoustically perfect concert halls in the world. In addition to works by Richard Strauss, Bernstein, and Rimsky-Korsakov, we are very excited to be performing a new work by the noted contemporary Argentinian composer Gerardo Gardelin. Raíces (Roots) is a symphonic poem which was recently premiered to great acclaim and makes use of Argentine folk music ideas as well as very catchy and propulsive rhythms.

On this day, CYS will also select its Benefit Raffle winner.
