Peyton was selected as a member of the California All-State Honor Band in 2014 and 2015. Peyton enjoys sharing music with the community and has performed in community events, including the Santana Row Christmas Tree Lighting. Peyton’s passion for the oboe began serendipitously. While listening to Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, the oboe, representing the duck character, and its expressive tone caught his attention. That day, he became an oboist. Peyton is currently in 8th grade at Lawson Middle School.
