Naomi Tai

Associate Orchestra Concerto Competition Winner

Violinist Naomi Tai, the concertmaster of the CYS Associate Orchestra, has been studying violin since age 4 with the current teacher Elizabeth Park.  She also studied with Pat Burnham for a few years when Ms. Park moved to Korea.  At age 7, Naomi won her first competition at the CMTANC Music Competition.  Recently, she won the first prize at the Bay Area Music Association’s International Music Competition.  Naomi loves sharing her music with people.  She plays at the retirement communities and her church frequently with her mom and her brother, Jeremy.  Besides music, Naomi is an accomplished artist and has received several awards in art contests.  She is the designer of Konpeito Cello Quartet website (www.konpeitocellos.com) and Jeremy Tai’s album art on his YouTube channel.  In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking. Naomi is a freshman at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View.
